Pamela Goodman has been House & Garden's travel editor for nearly 30 years, first joining as manag­ing editor, after having worked as the honeymoons editor for Condé Nast's Brides magazine She attributes the start of her career in travel to being in the right place at the right time, and she has since trotted across islands, moun­tains and cobbled alleys in all corners of the world in search of 'an incredible experience that can etch a destination permanently onto your soul'.
